Mentoring is a very specialized and personal endeavor. Because of this, I feel it is important to not only check that we are a good fit, but that the program I offer is a good fit. Each mentorship will be very different, depending on the needs of the mentee. And before we begin on our journey together, we will discuss in depth your needs and expectations.

The mentorships I offer are a collaborative venture. I believe this is the only way to foster a positive and effective relationship, and killer results.

If you want to dig deep, if you want to take your writing to the next level, then a mentorship is the way to go.

The only decision you need to ask yourself is, 'who do I want to take me to that next level?'

Michelle provided invaluable one-on-one mentoring as I wrote The Secrets of Palmerston House. In particular, she challenged me to use the main character's environment to emphasise the sense of time and danger she was in. She worked word by word with me in some parts of the scene I'd selected, encouraging me to up the stakes and squeeze just a bit more than I thought possible from the situation. I recommend Michelle for any mentoring or workshops. I've also done the Simply Synopsis OWL, which took the fear of writing synopses away (a bit 🙂).

By breaking the synopsis down into easily digestible pieces of information and valuable examples, it’s easy to understand and follow.
